Time for Mari Boya to get back up in Zandvoort

Pre Zandvoort

The Spaniard will fight to come back to the points in Round 5 of Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

• Van Amersfoort Racing races at home; Boya will therefore try to claim a good result for his team.

• Boya: “Both our confidence and motivation remain high, so I will give all my best to be back in the positions where we deserve to be”.

Formula Regional Europan Championship by Alpine is back this weekend. The season is about to reach its half-way mark as Zandvoort Circuit hosts the fifth event of the year. Mari Boya faces a new racing weekend with the objective of regaining the pace he shown throughout the first rounds and coming back after a tough weekend in Paul Ricard.

With 4,259 kilometres in length and 14 corners, Zandvoort Circuit is the most important track in The Netherlands, as well as the current Formula 1 Dutch GP host. The most relevant features of the layout are the lack of clear overtaking spots, making position changes uncommon, and the banking in some of its corners.

This is the only round on the season held in The Netherlands, which makes it a special event for Van Amersfoort Racing. Boya’s team races at home, giving the Spaniard an extra motivation to obtain good results for his team at its home country.

Boya will get to Zandvoort after his most adverse weekend on the series. His motivation is, however, far from gone. The young talent is looking forward to getting back in action and fight to come back to the position he has proved he can be in. As usual, qualifying sessions and races will be live streamed in Mari Boya’s website.

Boya: After struggling in Paul Ricard, it is time for us to get back up. Despite an unwanted result, both our confidence and motivation remain high, so I will give all my best to be back in the positions where we deserve to be. The team is doing an excellent job. I am really thankful for everything I am learning alongside them and I hope I can give them a good result at their home race”.
