Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is back in action this weekend. The Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg (Austria) hosts Round 7 of the season after a seven-week break caused by the calendar’s latest changes. The Nürburgring meeting was cancelled and replaced by what will be the eighth event of the season, which will take place at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, in Valencia (Spain), on September 25-26.

Red Bull Ring is Austria’s most popular racetrack. It currently hosts the Austrian Formula 1 Grand Prix. The circuit is located in a unique environment, surrounded by Styria region’s mountains and forests. Its 4,318 km layout and its ten corners are a big challenge for the drivers. There are numerous long straights followed by heavy braking points, which provide several overtaking opportunities. It is also a notorious track because of its elevation changes, with a 63,5 metres gap between the highest point and the lowest.

Competition resumes por Boya after having rested and prepared the season’s final stage during the summer break. The Van Amersfoort Racing driver has proved to be one of the most consistent and solid rookie drivers on the grid. He will fight to consolidate this performance on the closing events of the championship.

He will be specially determined and motivated this weekend as he will give his best to bounce back into the points after a scoreless weekend in Spa-Francorchamps, the previous round. The pace and the positive feeling were present, and the driver fought for the Top 10 during the entire weekend but could not achieve it on the races.

Boya: “After such a long time, we were looking forward to being racing again. I cannot wait to get back into the car and hit the track. I used this break to rest, and I think we are stronger now, with renewed energies and ambitions, so we will give our 100% this weekend. I thank my team, my manager and coach, my family and everyone who is supporting us for their huge work”.
