Pre-season goes on for Mari Boya as he will take part in Formula Regional collective test in Barcelona

● After having taken part on the previous oficial tests in Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine, Mari Boya will keep preparing his season with two more testing days in Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit.

 

● He returns to a track where he already drove the Tatuus F3 T-318 in the tests held back in December.

 

● “I am really looking forward to getting back in the car and improve the feeling we had in Imola, the season is about to begin and I want to be as ready as possible”.

The start of the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine season is around the corner. Because of the latest changes on the schedule, the season will kick off earlier than expected and the lights will go out for the first time in April 16 at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, in Imola (Italy).


The championship is therefore preparing its first event of the year, while the official pre-season collective tests have already begun. Mari Boya is looking to be fast and competitive ahead of his debut on the series. He will take part on the upcoming test, held on March 25 and 26 in Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit.


Boya comes from finishing Formula 4 Spanish Championship in second position after claiming 3 race wins and 14 podiums and consolidating himself as one of Spain’s biggest young talents. Formula Regional, where a grid with more than 30 top racers is expected, in the logical step on his progression.


The young Spaniard has already driven the Tatuus F3 T-318, the car used by the championship. He felt comfortable in that car since the very beginning. Last week, Boya took part on the first official collective test, held in Imola. His pre-season also includes his participation in IAME Winter Series, where he obtained a good fourth position in what was his first race in karting in more than a year.
