2020 Formula 4 Spanish Championship will be finished this weekend with round 7 in Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit. The drivers face this event with the drivers’ championship already secured and willing to show their talents for a final weekend. After this meeting, the third in a row in what was been a frantic final stage, all the participants including Mari Boya will get their deserved break.

Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit, located in Montmeló, 20 km away from Barcelona city, is one of the most iconic tracks on the series’ calendar. It currently hosts the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix and plenty of both national and international competitions. Because of his layout it is also considered one of the best venues in the world for testing.

Drivers will have to lap around 4,655 km and 16 corners. The layout provides a combination of long fast corners such as turns 3 and 9 with technical sections like sector 3. High speeds can also be reached as the main straight is more than one kilometre long. Formula visits the circuit as part of the Racing Weekend event, which gives fans the possibility of watching the races live in YouTube.

Mari Boya will race in Barcelona after obtaining one more podium last week in Jarama. The MP Motorsport driver races at home and will try to complete a good performance in this season finale. Boya is more motivated than ever to keep learning and to end his single-seater rookie year on the best possible way. His progression throughout the year is visible and he now has one more chance to prove his talent.

I am looking forward to be racing in Barcelona and finishing the season with good results. It is a track I like and I see myself ready to do my best. I am confident that my team will do a great job in order to have a good weekend at home and earn more experience ahead of 2021”, Boya said willing give it all one more time this year.

Contrary to what happened in Jarama, the usual weekend format is back in this round. One race will be held on Saturday while the remaining two are scheduled for Sunday.
