Round 3 of Formula 4 Spanish Championship season is to be held this weekend. On September 19 and 20, Circuito de Jerez - Ángel Nieto will host the young racing talents. It will be a key weekend for Mari Boya, who will try to close the gap to the championship lead while he keeps earning experience.

Boya comes from completing a great weekend on Round 2 of the championship, held in Paul Ricard Circuit. There, the Spaniard, driving for MP Motorsport, got into the podium in every single race and managed to cut the gap to the championship lead. The challenge he will be facing in Jerez will be considerably different as the Andalusian track is shorter, slower and more technical than the one in Le Castellet.

Boya, however, is ready for the challenge he will find in Jerez. The Catalan racer, alongside his fellow competitors, obtained some important mileage on the circuit during two testing days held last week. Boya felt positive after testing: "The feeling here is good after having tested. It is a complicated track, but it is also interesting. It hast fast corners, hard braking spots... I see myself ready now that we have done several laps and I think I can be at the same level I was on the previous round."

On top of everything, he will keep learning, understanding and knowing the car while obtaining experience that allows him to keep fighting on top. The main priority is, as always, to keep growing as a driver, not to make mistakes and to keep the consistency that has made him shine on the series.
